What they're saying

Jay White just returned to AEW a few days ago at Forbidden Door, but his enemies list is already creeping into double digits. On tonight’s (July 2) special Thursday episode of Collision, White wrestled in his first match since March 2025. He teamed up with The Gunns and Rated R Superstar Adam Copeland to take on Shane Taylor Promotions in a 8-man tag match. White scored the win with his Blade Runner finisher, of course, but things quickly went to hell after the match ended. The Dogs’s Clark Connors and David Finlay came out at the entrance ramp to confront the babyfaces. This was expected after White screwed them over at Forbidden Door. What was less expected is when Death Riders PAC, Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta, and Marina Shafir ambushed the babyfaces from behind. The Dogs joined forces with these Death Riders to assault Cope and the Bang Bang Gang. White was laid out with a shillelagh when all was said and done. Meanwhile, Jon Moxley and AEW’s top babyface Will Ospreay were also not there to assist their fellow Death Riders. I guess it’s not a heel turn for these five specific Death Riders since they’ve been heel all along, but it will be interesting to see if Mox’s henchmen did this on their own, or were following orders from above. Earlier in the show, the missing Gabe Kidd hinted this might be coming when he said he is both a member of The Dogs and the Death Riders. “Is he a Dog? Is he a Death Rider?
