Jayden Daniels, quarterback for the Washington Commanders, is projected to return in three weeks or sooner following a dislocated left elbow suffered in Week 2. Commanders general manager Adam Peters has indicated that surgery is not necessary and the team has not considered placing him on injured reserve. Daniels sustained the injury in a loss to the Dallas Cowboys when he tripped and reached to break his fall. He will play with a brace upon his return. Backup quarterback Marcus Mariota will lead the team until Daniels is cleared to return.
