Jaylen Brown returned to Boston on Sunday to host the 741 Frequency Fest, an event serving as a public farewell to the city where he played for 10 seasons. The former Celtics star addressed a crowd at Boston Common, expressing gratitude for his time with the organization and his connection to the local community. Brown was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in July in a deal that brought Paul George to Boston. During his decade with the Celtics, Brown earned five All-Star selections and a 2024 NBA Finals MVP award. He noted during his Philadelphia introductory news conference that the trade was unexpected and not his choice, but the Boston event allowed him to close his chapter with the city on his own terms.
