Jaylen Warren describes first padded practice under new Steelers coach as uneventful

Jaylen Warren reflected on the first day of padded practice with the Steelers under new head coach Mike McCarthy, calling it the most "tame, uneventful" experience he has encountered during training camp. This practice marks a change, as McCarthy emphasizes player health and has opted to avoid tackling to the ground. Warren noted that the intensity differs significantly from past camps under Mike Tomlin, suggesting a shift in training philosophy as the team prepares for the upcoming season. The decision not to tackle in practice may indicate adjustments in the approach to player safety.
