Illinois wide receiver Jayshon Platt has been named to the Biletnikoff Award watch list, recognizing outstanding FBS receivers. Entering his fifth year, Platt played all 12 games last season, achieving 46 catches for 720 yards and five touchdowns. He ranked 30th nationally with eight receptions over 30 yards. Platt’s accolades also include being on the Jet Award watch list for top return specialists. The Biletnikoff Award will select semifinalists and finalists later in the season.
