Jayson Tatum scores 34 as Celtics defeat Hornets 119-80 in NBA Cup

Jayson Tatum led the Boston Celtics with 34 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds in a 119-80 victory against the Charlotte Hornets on November 6. The Celtics took control early, shooting 17 of 31 from 3-point range in the first half and building a 31-point lead. Derrick White contributed 18 points as Boston improved to 2-0 in NBA Cup play. Meanwhile, the Hornets struggled offensively, shooting just 28% in the first half and missing key players, including Brandon Miller, who left the game with right groin soreness. The Celtics have now won seven of their last eight games.
