Jazz Chisholm Jr. borrowed Aaron Judge's bat during the New York Yankees' game against the Boston Red Sox on June 7, 2026. After a slow start, Chisholm's three-run homer in the eighth inning capped a five-run rally, leading the Yankees to a 6-1 victory. The team played without Judge, who is sidelined with a fractured rib, as well as Giancarlo Stanton and Austin Wells. Chisholm has been swinging a 34-inch bat but used Judge's larger model to help find success. The Yankees improve to 38-26, remaining close to first-place Tampa Bay in the AL East standings.

"Jazz Chisholm Jr. found a way to keep Aaron Judge's bat in the New York Yankees' lineup. After lumbering through the early innings, Chisholm borrowed lumber from the injured Yankees captain. “When I pick up his bat I know I can’t swing as hard as I can or else I’ll tear an oblique like last year,” Chisholm said.
