Jean-Clair Todibo undergoes medical at Lens ahead of loan move from West Ham

Summary

Jean-Clair Todibo is undergoing a medical with RC Lens in northern France as he prepares for a loan move from West Ham United. The 26-year-old defender's exit follows West Ham's relegation to the EFL Championship this summer. While Aston Villa and Olympique de Marseille expressed interest in Todibo, a transfer to Lens has emerged as the most likely option. An agreement between Lens and West Ham has been reached, and Todibo is now making financial concessions to facilitate the move, which will not include a buy option. The loan provides Todibo with the opportunity to compete in the UEFA Champions League this season.
