Jean Silva rejects Aljamain Sterling callout following Noche UFC victory

Following the bout, featherweight contender Aljamain Sterling publicly requested a fight with Silva, proposing a date at UFC 334 in November. Silva dismissed the suggestion during the post-fight news conference, stating he has no interest in pursuing a matchup with Sterling. Instead, Silva identified his primary objective as securing a title fight against the winner of the upcoming October 24 meeting between Alexander Volkanovski and Movsar Evloev at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi. Silva currently holds back-to-back wins following his 2025 loss to Diego Lopes. Sterling, a former bantamweight champion, moved to the featherweight division and recently recorded a victory over Youssef Zalal.
