Jeff Kealty joins San Jose Sharks as assistant general manager

Jeff Kealty is leaving the Nashville Predators to become the assistant general manager of the San Jose Sharks, effective July 17. Kealty, who has been with Nashville since 2001, previously held positions including director of amateur scouting and was named GM of the U.S. Men's National Team in 2025. His departure follows the hiring of Chris MacFarland as Predators' general manager in June, after which Kealty remained with the team through the NHL Draft. The Sharks indicated Kealty will collaborate with general manager Mike Grier on Hockey Operations.
