Jeff Rimer releases memoir reflecting on broadcasting career

Jeff Rimer, the original voice of the Florida Panthers from 1993, has published his memoir, "It Doesn’t Get Any Better Than This: Unforgettable Calls in the Booth and Unexpected Turns in Life." The book, available for presale, chronicles Rimer's broadcasting journey from Calgary to Columbus, where he retired after 20 seasons as the Blue Jackets' TV voice in 2025. Among notable anecdotes is Rimer's story of flying with the New York Islanders during a snowstorm to fulfill his broadcasting obligations. Rimer has returned to South Florida in retirement and often visits the Panthers’ press box.
