Jeffery Simmons earns top 20 ranking on ESPN list for Titans

Summary

Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons earned the No. 19 spot on ESPN's Top 100 players list as the team prepares for the 2026 season. This represents a significant jump from his 65th-place ranking in 2025. Simmons recorded 11 sacks and 67 tackles last season, establishing himself as a leader in the locker room under new head coach Robert Saleh. Saleh expects to use an upfield penetration scheme to increase opportunities for Simmons to secure one-on-one matchups. Projections for the upcoming season include 80 tackles and nine sacks for the defensive tackle. The organization previously demonstrated its commitment to the player by extending his contract through 2031.
