Jeral Skelton signs with Bulldogs for 2027 NRL season

Jeral Skelton, currently with Wests Tigers, has confirmed his move to the Canterbury Bulldogs for the 2027 NRL season. The outside back, who can play centre or wing, leaves the Tigers after 28 games and 18 tries over the last two years. Bulldogs director of football Phil Gould emphasizes Skelton's powerful play and potential to enhance the team's outside backs, especially after the departures of Bronson Xerri, Jonathan Sua, and Marcelo Montoya. Skelton has signed a one-year deal but will re-enter the market following the season. The Bulldogs continue to bolster their roster, having also signed Jaxson Allen, Connor Votano, Jesse McLean, and Freddy Lussick.
