Jeremiah Smith's NIL deal surpasses LeBron James' 76ers contract

Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith's NIL deal reportedly earns him $1 million more annually than LeBron James' recent contract with the Philadelphia 76ers. Smith's deal, signed in July 2025, includes partnerships with major brands like Red Bull, Adidas, Nintendo, and Lululemon. This places Smith as the highest-paid non-college quarterback in the NIL era, ahead of prominent figures like LSU's Jordan Seaton. Anticipation builds around Smith's performance as he prepares for the 2026 college football season, where he seeks to enhance his already valuable status.
