Jeri Helfer appointed associate commissioner for Ohio Valley Region volleyball

Summary

Jeri Helfer has been promoted to associate commissioner of the Ohio Valley Region for USA Volleyball, effective immediately. With a 26-year history running the New Wave Club, Helfer has contributed significantly to junior volleyball in the Midwest, overseeing more than 30,000 players. A graduate of Newark Catholic, she has extensive coaching experience, including leading her alma mater to six state tournaments and winning the Division III state championship in 2004. Helfer previously served as the Girls Junior Program Director for the OVR last year.
