Jerome Bettis endorses Rams drafting Ty Simpson as smart decision

Summary

The Los Angeles Rams faced scrutiny for selecting Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson in the first round of the NFL draft. Hall of Famer Jerome Bettis defended the choice, emphasizing the importance of depth at the quarterback position. He noted the Rams' close call to a Super Bowl last season and how having a solid backup can ensure better performance through the season. Bettis compared the Rams' strategy to successful transitions seen with teams like the Chiefs and Packers.
