Jerry Jones open to trade for defensive playmaker as Cowboys camp ends

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones expressed increased optimism about the team's prospects at training camp on August 18, 2026. Jones indicated openness to making a 'substantive' trade for a defensive playmaker, suggesting he could utilize future assets to enhance the current roster.
