Jets decide Geno Smith will not play in preseason finale against Giants

The New York Jets have announced that quarterback Geno Smith will not participate in the preseason finale against the Giants at MetLife Stadium on August 28. Reports indicate that Jets head coach Aaron Glenn has opted to hold out Smith after his limited participation in the first two preseason games.
