Jets focus on safety depth as training camp kicks off
Summary

The New York Jets began their 2026 training camp this week, looking to improve their safety position after a challenging 2025 season. Andre Cisco struggled and suffered a season-ending injury, while Tony Adams had an inconsistent year. The Jets added Minkah Fitzpatrick via trade, who brings leadership and versatility. Malachi Moore, a second-year player, is vying for a starting spot against Cisco, with Dane Belton also in consideration. The team's objective is to enhance the secondary's performance with newly integrated players and a promising draft class.
