Jets training camp focuses on rookies and Geno Smith's return

The New York Jets begin training camp on July 25 amid scrutiny after a 3-14 season. The team hopes to improve with the return of Geno Smith, who has rejoined the franchise after a trade from the Las Vegas Raiders. Smith's performance will be critical in optimizing the development of young talents like Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall. The Jets have also made significant offseason moves to bolster a defense that struggled last year, adding veterans like Demario Davis and Minkah Fitzpatrick. Eight new draft picks, including three first-round selections, are expected to make immediate impacts as the Jets seek a turnaround this fall.
