After the Clash in Italy main event on May 31, Jey Uso intervened to separate a fan who grabbed World Heavyweight champion Roman Reigns' arm, hindering his exit. Coming out of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, the wrestle web was full of stories of fans pushing boundaries or acting flat-out inappropriately while trying to get access to WWE talent and personalities. It turns out there were numerous reasons for that. But while this year’s ‘Mania brought numerous accounts of bad fan behavior all at once, we’ve had a consistent stream of them over the past 5-10 years — and most of them come from situations where TKO wasn’t charging an arm and a leg for meet-and-greets, and hadn’t booked its wrestlers in a hotel in the middle of all the festivities with no private entrances to their rooms. One occurred Sunday (May 31) just after Clash in Italy’s main event ended in Turin’s Inali Arena. As World Heavyweight champion Roman Reigns was leading The Bloodline to the back after winning Tribal Combat over Jacob Fatu, he daps up a few fans seated along the aisle. One grabs his hand or wrist and doesn’t let go, even as Reigns tries to cooly continue along before eventually trying to pull his arm more forcefully. When that doesn’t immediately work, Jey Uso steps in and forces the person to let go of Reigns’ arm. He then barks a few words at them before catching up with his twin and his Tribal Chief. Grabbing Roman and not letting go to the point where Jey has to slap the persons hand away 🤦🏼‍♀️ yall need to relax before he stops doing this also pic.twitter.com/2x1BzIQnGK — Kerri (@NYKerri_) June 1, 2026 While this obviously not the same as filming a Hall of Famer in the bathroom (as Booker T says happened to him during ‘Mania week in Vegas), it’s a needless and ultimately meaningless act that will only lead to wrestlers no longer choosing to interact with fans during their entrances and exits. It feels almost inevitable that one of these inappropriate wrestler/fan moments will eventually lead to tragedy. In this case, credit to Jey Uso for handling things quickly and without escalating things too much — all which staying in character.
