Jezelle 'GG' Banks commits to South Carolina Gamecocks

Jezelle 'GG' Banks has announced her commitment to play for the South Carolina Gamecocks. The guard, ranked No. 4 in the Class of 2027, chose South Carolina over LSU and Texas, following a standout summer that included a championship run with Overtime Select. Banks, a two-time Delaware Gatorade Player of the Year, previously played at Ursuline Academy before transferring to The St. James Academy in Virginia, where she averaged 14.3 points per game last season. She is expected to make a significant impact at the collegiate level under coach Dawn Staley.
