Jim Harbaugh enters third season as coach of the Los Angeles Chargers

Jim Harbaugh begins his third season leading the Los Angeles Chargers following playoff appearances in each of his first two years. Despite reaching the postseason, the team exited in the wild card round during both the 2024 and 2025 campaigns. Changes have been made to the coaching staff, including the appointment of offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel and the addition of Chris O’Leary to the staff. Harbaugh holds a 66-31-1 career record as an NFL head coach across his tenure with the San Francisco 49ers and the Chargers. The team continues to pursue a Super Bowl title under his leadership. Harbaugh has never finished a season with a record below.500 throughout his career.
