Jin Nakamura wins first F3 race at Spa-Francorchamps

Jin Nakamura claimed his first FIA Formula 3 victory during the Sprint Race at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps on July 18, 2026. Starting from fourth on the grid, Nakamura surged to second early by overtaking Mattia Colnaghi and Pedro Clerot. After a strong restart following a Safety Car, he took the lead from Brando Badoer, managing to hold on until the finish. The race included early drama when Ugo Ugochukwu collided with Freddie Slater, which resulted in Slater retiring from the race. The Feature Race is set for July 19, with Slater on pole position.
