Jiri Prochazka and Navajo Stirling headline UFC Qatar card in November

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka will face off with Navajo Stirling in the main event of UFC’s upcoming card in Doha, Qatar, on Nov. 21, the promotion announced Tuesday. Ex-bantamweight titleholder Aljamain Sterling is set to take on rising featherweight prospect Kevin Vallejos as well. Prochazka (32-6-1) will attempt to rebound from a title fight loss to Carlos Ulberg in April, when he had his opponent injured but still got knocked out in the first round. Prochazka remains undefeated in non-title bouts since joining the promotion in 2020, losing only in championship fights versus Ulbert and twice to Alex Pereira. Stirling (11-0) holds a perfect 6-0 record in the octagon. The Contender Series signee already competed three times in the octagon this year, scoring knockouts over Bruno Lopes, Ion Cutelaba and former 205-pound champion Jan Blachowicz. The card will also feature a lightweight showdown between Brian Ortega and Dan Hooker, marking the return of Ortega to the cage since pulling out of a recent clash with Renato Moicano due to a cut over his eye. Hooker also re-enters the cage on a relatively quick turnaround after a first-round knockout loss to Salahdine Parnasse earlier this month. Check the updated UFC Qatar line-up below.
