Jizzle James hints at possible return to Cincinnati from Charlotte

Former Cincinnati Bearcats guard Jizzle James has made cryptic Instagram posts suggesting a desire to return to UC from Charlotte. Still officially part of the Charlotte 49ers, James shared a post referencing a 'Welcome back to Cincy' gathering planned for Sept. 5 and has indicated he must discuss his future with Coach Jerrod Calhoun. His father described the posts as 'trolling'. As the NCAA transfer portal is currently closed, any potential return would require navigating eligibility rules, and classes at UC have already begun as of Aug. 24. James qualifies for the '5-for-5' eligibility rule, possibly allowing him to play in the 2027-28 season.
