J.J. Bleday named NL Player of the Month for May

J.J. Bleday of the Cincinnati Reds has earned the National League Player of the Month award for May. He batted.301, hitting eight home runs and driving in 25 RBIs during the month. Bleday’s performance included a 1.018 OPS, contributing significantly to the Reds' lineup. Since joining the Reds after being designated for assignment by the A’s, Bleday has made an impact, currently hitting.289 with 10 home runs and 27 RBIs for the season. This recognition marks the first time a Reds player has received the Player of the Month honor since Joey Votto in July 2021.
