The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have begun their mandatory minicamp as safety J.J. Roberts attempts to solidify his position on the roster. An undrafted free agent out of Marshall, Roberts had a promising preseason last year but missed the entire season due to a knee injury. He showcased versatility by excelling in both safety and cornerback roles, making him a valuable asset as the team looks to enhance its secondary. General manager Jason Licht highlighted Roberts as a key player returning in 2026, emphasizing his potential for defensive snaps and special teams.
