J.J. Spaun and Patrick Cantlay have committed to playing in the 2026 Rocket Classic at Detroit Golf Club from July 30 to August 2. Spaun, the 2025 U.S. Open champion, initially planned to participate but withdrew after his major victory to celebrate. He has had four top-10 finishes this season, ranking No. 13 in the world. Cantlay, with eight PGA Tour titles, is ranked No. 38 and has previously participated in the Rocket Classic, finishing tied for second in 2022. With their commitments, the field now features 12 players ranked in the top 50 globally, as the commitment deadline approaches on July 24.
