Joao Cancelo left out of Al-Hilal squad amid Barcelona transfer talks
Summary

Joao Cancelo was omitted from Al-Hilal's squad for their opening Saudi Pro League match against Al-Faisaly. This comes as tensions rise over his potential transfer back to Barcelona, where he had a successful loan spell last season. Al-Hilal has reportedly set a €10 million asking price, but negotiations with Barcelona have stalled. Despite recent training, coach Simone Inzaghi cited Cancelo's fitness as a concern. The situation highlights ongoing friction between the player and the club, with Barcelona remaining hopeful for a deal as they seek a lower fee.
