Joao Mario has joined Fiorentina on loan for the 2026/27 season after spending the latter half of the previous season with Bologna. The midfielder made 13 appearances for the Bianconeri during the first part of the last season, including matches in Serie A and the Champions League. Following his loan spell at Bologna, where he played ten Serie A matches and scored once, Mario has been transferred to Fiorentina for additional playing time. As this season progresses, he will be looking to make an impact with his new team.
