Joe Burrow comments on Jayden Daniels-LSU jersey controversy

Joe Burrow addressed the ongoing situation between Jayden Daniels and LSU following Daniels' cease-and-desist letter over his jersey number. Daniels, the school's 2023 Heisman Trophy winner, is contesting LSU's decision to give his No. 5 jersey to DJ Pickett, citing a prior commitment made by the coaching staff. Burrow, a former LSU star himself, remarked he doesn't have enough information on the situation but acknowledged LSU previously assured him his No. 9 would not be reused. The controversy stems from promises made during previous coaching regimes. Burrow expressed a hope for a resolution that satisfies all involved parties.
