Joe Clarke leads Nottinghamshire to 377 against Hampshire at Trent Bridge

Joe Clarke scored 105 to guide Nottinghamshire to a total of 377 on the opening day of their County Championship match against Hampshire at Trent Bridge. The home side initially struggled, falling to 20-3 before Clarke stabilized the innings with help from Jack Haynes and Mitchell Hay. Liam Patterson-White added a late 92 to bolster the total, while Kyle Abbott and Scott Currie claimed four wickets each for the visitors. Hampshire began their response under the lights, finishing the day at 12-0. Nottinghamshire currently sits four points behind league leaders Somerset.
