Joe Hendry's gimmick struggles as WWE fortunes shift
Summary

In WWE's latest stock report, Joe Hendry is highlighted as the top stock down performer after his new entrance song failed to resonate. His gimmick, which includes calling fans 'trash,' is seen as problematic for gaining traction on the main roster. Big Cass also saw his stock drop after being pinned by Dragon Lee, highlighting challenges for his singles push. On the upswing, Lola Vice and Dragon Lee showcased notable performances, with Vice winning against Roxanne Perez and Lee securing a victory over Cass. Some places do power rankings. Here at Cageside, we do a stock report. In this weekly series, we identify three Superstars (or groups of Superstars) who are on their way up, and three that are moving in the opposite direction. After a busy week that included Oba Femi and Bronson Reed signing a contract to fight each other, Paige slapping Nikki Bella in the face, and Kevin Owens qualifying for Money in the Bank over Cody Rhodes, a lot of fortunes were changed. With that in mind, let’s see whose stock decreased the most this week: Stock Down #3: MFT and Bakusai For the second week in a row, Shinsuke Nakamura and Kyoki’s feud with the WWE tag team champions was relegated to digital exclusives. By doing this, the message WWE sends is that the titles, the story, and the new character Kyoki aren’t important enough to make the cut for television. Stock Down #2: Big Cass Big Cass was pinned by Dragon Lee on this week’s episode of Raw. It was actually Big’s best work in the ring by far since his return to WWE, but the fact that a low card babyface went over doesn’t bode well for Cass’ singles push going forward. Could it already be time to bring in Enzo Amore? Stock Down #1: Joe Hendry Joe Hendry’s new song is about how you’re a useless piece of trash if you don’t love Joe Hendry. I don’t know who this awful song is supposed to be for, but it’s become evident that Hendry’s act just isn’t working on WWE’s main roster. This could very well be a situation where Hendry reached peak viral popularity a couple years ago, and WWE is late to the party hoping everyone still think it’s cool. Perhaps he was always going to be a one hit wonder with his incredible entrance song. Regardless, terrible new songs like this where babyface Hendry doesn’t even realize that he’s calling most fans trash is only going to make it harder for him to get over in WWE. Run-ins that consist of singing next to giant Funko Pops don’t help either. Now let’s see whose stock increased the most this week: Stock Up #3: Lola Vice Vice had a very good match with Roxanne Perez on Raw, picked up the win, and looks like she absolutely belongs on the WWE main roster heading into the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Stock Up #2: Dragon Lee Dragon Lee was Big Cass’ dance partner for the latter’s best match since returning to WWE, and Dragon actually got the win. Coming off his great match match with Chad Gable on Raw in Mexico City, it seems like “the future of lucha libre” finally has some momentum going his way. Stock Up #1: 946 Royce Keys’ new faction continued to victimize The Bloodline on this week’s episode of Raw, with Jaida Parker officially joining up and running over Jacob Fatu with a car. 946 is being positioned as the top heel group on Raw heading into War Games next month. That’s a great place to be, especially considering how most of the members are so new to the WWE main roster. There you have it, Cagesiders. Whose stock do you think changed the most this week?
