Joe Mazzulla addresses Jaylen Brown's comments about Celtics' focus

Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla recently discussed Jaylen Brown's remarks regarding the 2025-26 season during a radio appearance. Brown, now with the Philadelphia 76ers, had described that season as his favorite despite co-star Jayson Tatum’s injury. Mazzulla emphasized the importance of focusing on the current team rather than past narratives, asserting that players should feel free to express themselves. The Celtics, starting the season with a 3-1 record, are working to establish their identity with contributions from players like Tatum, who scored 40 points in a recent win against Brooklyn. The Celtics will visit Philadelphia on November 10, potentially reigniting discussions surrounding Brown's departure.
