Joel Embiid expresses message to 76ers during offseason
Summary

Joel Embiid sent a clear message to the Philadelphia 76ers amid an active offseason, stating simply, "I’m healthy." This follows the team’s significant roster changes, including the acquisition of Jaylen Brown from the Boston Celtics and LeBron James, who signed a two-year, $8 million contract. With concerns surrounding Embiid's injury history, his availability will be crucial for Philadelphia as they aim for deep playoff success next season. Embiid’s performance has been pivotal, as he led the league in scoring last season, earning MVP honors. The offseason acquisitions have intensified expectations for the Sixers as they prepare for the 2026-27 campaign.
