Joel Klatt announces all-21st century college football team without Buckeyes

Fox analyst Joel Klatt named his All-21st Century college football team on July 13, featuring 23 players, none of whom are from Ohio State. Despite the Buckeyes' history of national championships and notable players, Klatt opted for athletes from other programs in key positions. Among those considered but not selected were wide receiver Jeremiah Smith and safety Caleb Downs. Klatt praised Downs as the smartest player he's covered but ultimately chose Tyrann Mathieu and Minkah Fitzpatrick for the nickelback position instead.
