Earlier this week, the WWE Hall of Famer went after Jon Moxley, saying he could “beat the leaving s***” out of the AEW Continental champion. Those comments prompted wrestler and mixed martial arts professional Josh Barnett to challenge Bully to a fight. Next, Joey Janela began taking shots at the Busted Open co-host on social media, leading to the two to trade accusations back and forth. Bully kicked all this off by criticizing The Death Riders faction on the Busted Open podcast before zeroing in on Moxley. “The Death Riders have not helped AEW in any way, shape, or form. The Death Riders are Jon Moxley playing out his pro wrestling fantasies because he’s got Tony [Khan’s] ear,” he said on the Tuesday (June 22) episode of the show. “Because he wants to be Terry Funk? I would kick the shit outta Jon Moxley… I’d beat the living shit out of him. Fraud.” Barnett addressed those remarks on X (Twitter) by writing that “Mox can handle himself just fine, so he doesn’t need me to fight any battles for him, but if you ever have the itch to feel what it would be like to have your ass kicked so thoroughly to the point of epic humiliation, I can help you with that.” He added: “I can not only ‘beat the shit out of you’, but do so in a way as to make your ass kicking legendary.” Interesting take here "Bully". Mox can handle himself just fine, so he doesn't need me to fight any battles for him, but if you ever have the itch to feel what it would be like to have your ass kicked so thoroughly to the point of epic humiliation, I can help you with that. I… https://t.co/vcezeOBfA3 — 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝖂𝖆𝖗𝖒𝖆𝖘𝖙𝖊𝖗 (@JoshLBarnett) June 22, 2026 Bully responded: “I too can handle myself fine, fight my battles. If ya ever had the itch to feel what it’s like to be over so thoroughly that you can draw money, I can help you with that. Not only can I put you over but get you over in a way that would make ya ass legendary. For you anytime.” Soon enough, Janela joined in on the Bully pile-on, and he did so by leveling serious allegations against the man fka Bubba Ray Dudley. Writing on X, Janela said: “There’s no bigger fraud on the Jersey Shore then 54 year old Bubba Dudley,” who he then claimed hangs out at a popular bar to buy “groups of 22 year old girls shots, waiting for someone to recognize him and when they do and ask for a picture he tells him them to f*** off.” There’s no bigger fraud on the Jersey Shore then 54 year old bubba Dudley, sits around at Djais by himself on Sundays all day buying groups of 22 year old girls shots, waiting for someone to recognize him and when they do and ask for a picture he tells him them to fuck off..… — “The Bad Boy” Joey Janela (@JANELABABY) June 23, 2026 After interacting with some fans about Bully, Janela then claimed he was once seriously burnt due to a flaming table spot gone wrong in a match involving Dudley. “I’ll never forgive that fat f***ing loser for absolutely completely dosing a table in 2 bottles of lighter fluid, and not waiting for it to dissipate giving me nearly 3rd degree burns on my body and not checking in once with me afterwards,” the independent wrestling star wrote on X. “Even laughed a little bit when I told him I was going to the hospital ‘you’re going to the hospital?’ As the skin bubbled up on my body.” I’ll never forgive that fat fucking loser for absolutely completely dosing a table in 2 bottles of lighter fluid, and not waiting for it to dissipate giving me nearly 3rd degree burns on my body and not checking in once with me afterwards. Even laughed a little bit when I told… https://t.co/xu2L9GgYhd — “The Bad Boy” Joey Janela (@JANELABABY) June 23, 2026 That particular post garnered a response from Bully Ray, who said Janela had “begged” him to do the flaming table spot. “You BEGGED…LITERALLY BEGGED me to do it…you know it and all the boys know it. I said ‘no’ 2x …. You STILL begged,” he said on X. “You wore a flammable shirt that you were told by others not to wear. You’re trash and a liar. And ya fkn know it.” Next the two traded differing accounts of how Dudley treated Janela when they ran into each other at a Kid Rock show before the war of words continued with Janela returning to the flaming table accusations: “Lmfao the only thing that didn’t catch fire was the shirt, the shirt was completely intact afterwards. It was the lighter fluid on my skin, such a corny fat f***ing liar you are. “I didn’t BEG to do a flaming table spot, that was the spot in mind when they booked you, Matt Cardona said you’d keep me safe and he did it twice,” he continued. “You never said ‘No’ I wasn’t begging to do flaming table spots in 2024, I did it because I thought it would be fine since you’ve done it so many times.” Also…ya fkn moron…I was never booked for that show. I was an EXTREMELY LAST MINUTE replacement added not even 24hrs prior because someone could not make it. The first person I saw was you….you brought me lighter fluid and lamp oil. And then begged. And then cried Bitch — Bully Ray (@bullyray5150) June 23, 2026 The arguing didn’t stop there, and Bully replied by saying he “never booked for that show” but was “an EXTREMELY LAST MINUTE replacement.” “The first person I saw was you….you brought me lighter fluid and lamp oil,” Bully wrote. “And then begged. And then cried. B****.” As of press time, the two wrestling stars have not posted any other public messages aimed at the other, though it wouldn’t be surprising if the feud doesn’t die down just yet.
