Jojo Fifita set to extend contract with Gold Coast Titans

Jojo Fifita, a State of Origin player for the Gold Coast Titans, is reportedly close to signing a two-year contract extension that will keep him at the club until the end of 2029. This decision comes after he previously expressed interest in pursuing a career in rugby union. At 23 years old, Fifita has played 78 NRL games and is having a career-best season, earning a spot in the Kangaroos 40-man World Cup squad. His importance to the Titans is expected to increase with fellow back Phillip Sami moving to the St George Illawarra Dragons in 2027.
