Jolie Farmer scores twice in Maryland women's soccer win over Fairleigh Dickinson

Jolie Farmer scored both goals for Maryland in a 2-1 victory against Fairleigh Dickinson on August 20 in College Park. Farmer opened the scoring less than two minutes into the match, continuing her strong form after netting the only goal in the previous game against Fordham. Fairleigh Dickinson responded with a goal from Amina Brown in the 72nd minute, but could not overcome Maryland’s early lead. The Terps dominated possession and managed 15 shots on goal compared to FDU’s three. Maryland will next face Virginia Tech in Blacksburg this Sunday.
