Jon Moxley and Nigel McGuinness advance in AEW Continental Challenge Cup

In the quarter finals of the AEW Continental Challenge Cup on August 19 in Glasgow, Jon Moxley secured a submission victory over Jay White, advancing to the semi finals. Moxley executed a Rear Naked Choke on White after avoiding a potentially decisive Blade Runner. In the second quarter final, Nigel McGuinness, despite an ankle injury, defeated Hechicero using a Guillotine after capitalizing on Hechicero's momentum. Moxley and McGuinness will join the winners of the upcoming matches between Claudio Castagnoli and Eddie Kingston, as well as Orange Cassidy and Kyle O'Reilly, to determine the final four competitors for the tournament at AEW All In London on August 30.
