Jonah Young and Logan McGuire named Athletes of the Week

Harrisburg junior Jonah Young and Brandon Valley junior Logan McGuire have been recognized as the Argus Leader Athletes of the Week for the period of Aug. 31 to Sept. 5. Young received 49.4% of the vote after earning his first career win as Harrisburg's starting quarterback against Sioux Falls Washington, throwing for three touchdowns and 230 yards. McGuire garnered 55.5% of the vote, showcasing her skills in a match against Brookings with 24 assists and 11 kills, in addition to performing well against O'Gorman. Both athletes will continue to compete as their teams move into the next week of play.
