Jonathan Kuminga selects jersey number 24 for the Minnesota Timberwolves

Jonathan Kuminga will wear number 24 for the Minnesota Timberwolves during the 2026-27 NBA season. The forward, who previously wore numbers 00 and 1 with the Golden State Warriors and number 0 with the Atlanta Hawks, signed a one-year deal with his new team this offseason. Kuminga becomes the 12th player in Minnesota franchise history to wear number 24. Recent players to occupy the number include TJ Warren, while previous users include Tom Gugliotta, who earned an All-Star selection while wearing the jersey in 1997. The number 24 remains retired by the Golden State Warriors to honor Hall of Famer Rick Barry.
