Jones and Hummel commit to colleges for athletics

Lance Jones and Ava Hummel from Salisbury-Elk Lick have announced their college athletic commitments. Jones will attend St. Francis University to play football, while Hummel will join Pitt-Greensburg's volleyball team. Jones was recognized as a first-team all-state selection in football and is the all-time leading scorer for his school. Hummel concluded her high school career with notable statistics, including 325 kills and 162 aces. Both athletes transition to their respective colleges this fall.
