Jordan James prepares for NFL training camp with 49ers next month

Jordan James is set to participate in San Francisco 49ers training camp starting in July 2026. His performance in early offseason workouts has caught attention, especially after the team dealt with injury concerns regarding Christian McCaffrey. Coaches are optimistic about James’ potential as a running back, highlighting his vision and contact balance. Other rookies and undrafted free agents, including Jaden Dugger and De’Zhaun Stribling, have also made impressions during OTA practices this spring. The 49ers are looking to solidify their roster ahead of the upcoming season and will assess which players can contribute effectively once pads are on during training camp.
