Jordan Seaton earns SEC offensive lineman of the week honor at LSU

LSU offensive lineman Jordan Seaton received SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week honors following his performance in the season opener. The Tigers defeated Clemson 51-10 on Saturday in Baton Rouge. In the team’s first game under head coach Lane Kiffin and offensive coordinator Charlie Weis, the offense produced 335 passing yards and 309 rushing yards. Seaton, a left tackle who transferred to LSU after two seasons at Colorado, helped anchor a line that enabled quarterback Sam Leavitt and running back Dilin Jones to each rush for 113 yards. The unit scored on seven of its 10 possessions during the victory. As the highest-ranked offensive lineman to enter the program via the transfer portal, Seaton is expected to remain a key component of the team's offensive front as the season progresses.
