Jordon Ibe pleads guilty to assaulting ex-girlfriend Amie Mayson

Jordon Ibe, a former Premier League player, has pleaded guilty to assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Amie Mayson, during an argument in December. The incident occurred outside Mayson's home in Lambeth, London, where Ibe pulled a braid from her head, resulting in a bald patch. Mayson confronted Ibe about money he allegedly owed her, escalating into a physical altercation. In a victim impact statement, she described the emotional distress caused by the attack. Ibe, currently playing for Lokomotiv Sofia, was arrested at Luton Airport in January and will be sentenced on 4 September after a pre-sentence report is prepared.
