Jordyn Adams joins SMU football program after MLB career

Jordyn Adams has signed with Southern Methodist University to play football, shifting from a professional baseball career. The former five-star wide receiver recruit from the 2018 class previously played in Major League Baseball for the Los Angeles Angels and other teams. Adams, who last played for the Milwaukee Brewers organization, had a notable athletic background and is now eligible to compete in NCAA football. His return to college football follows a successful high school career where he ranked as the No. 3 wide receiver nationally.
