Jorge Alves brings the Stanley Cup to Stoughton High School

Carolina Hurricanes head equipment manager Jorge Alves will display the Stanley Cup at Stoughton High School on Thursday, Sept. 10. The event, scheduled from 2:30 to 4:15 p.m., allows members of the public to take photographs with the trophy. Alves is a 1997 graduate of the school. The visit follows the Hurricanes' recent NHL championship win, which granted team members the traditional opportunity to host the trophy during the offseason. The tour has previously featured appearances at various venues, including a trip to the North Carolina legislative building. Admission to the Stoughton event is free and does not require tickets.
