Jose Iglesias expresses interest in MLB return with condition

Summary

Former All-Star infielder Jose Iglesias has indicated a desire to return to Major League Baseball, specifically expressing interest in rejoining the New York Mets or San Diego Padres. Iglesias, who took a season off to pursue a career in entertainment, recorded an impressive.337 batting average during his 2024 season with the Mets. He stated that he would only consider a comeback if it were with a team he has a personal connection to.
